Today, Feb. 1, 2004 we had a new hatchling join the family.  Ichabod and Tiger mated more than a year ago and Tiger laid 32 eggs in January of 2003.  All but two of the eggs went moldy and were discarded.  It could have been too much moisture or being joggled while moving to the lake and back.  Who knows.  I had all but given up on the last two eggs when today we had a real surprise!  The cutest little baby Chameleon crawled out of his shell.

He seems alert and active but of course it's a bit too early to tell how he will end up doing.
